REM

a visual

A visual inspired by experimental short films. Once this was finished, I realized that I unintentionally created the closest depiction of how I interpret my dreams, more-so the ones that involve my craft and envisions when I enter that lucid state. “Unintentionally”, given that I went into this project with no preconceived idea or direction

You’re walked through creative thought, contemplation and a sense of identity or less of it, and the visual representation of seeing the light, or that one thing, which can be closely picked up by how it starts from a realistic, non-graded shots, fades into black and white and then you’re introduced to color.

On the inspiration, watching experimental films and beginning from the more earlier works, its interesting seeing the stories that were being told so early in film making.
